Charlotte Crosland

Charlotte is a media composer, singer-songwriter, and sound designer located in Toronto, Ontario. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from Wilfrid Laurier University (2019) and a Graduate Certificate from Sheridan College in Music Scoring for Screen and Stage (2021).

Charlotte has composed for film, video games, and other multimedia visual projects combining video art and sound. She designs her own sampler instruments using voice and sound recordings which she uses in her compositional works. She has also worked as a sound designer and foley artist on multiple student games and animated projects.

She has performed as an improvisor since 2018 and was part of the collective The Yacht Club in 2019. Her favourite genres of exploration are science-fiction, fantasy, and, horror, which she incorporates into many of her artistic endeavours. She most recently completed scoring the short documentary Romario, coming 2022.
